Interview with Sanja Malagurski

Kerem Toros:First, congratulations Sanja.You seem to love Turkey pretty much as we know from your twitter, instagram.You follow our series, prefer İstanbul for holiday.From when you have such an interest in Turkey ? Would you please tell us the reason of that interest ?

Sanja Malagurski: Thank you. I’m here for World Grand Prix.Before that,  I have been to Istanbul  twice and I really loved Turkey. In Istanbul there are a lot of team which are successful in Europe. At the same time, many global stars play in Turkish League. My teammates’ compliments made me interested in Turkey. I love Turkish volleyball and the volleyball played in here.

Kerem Toros: You are playing as setters diagonal in the absence of Jovana and you did very good job in recent games.What is the position that you enjoy playing ?

Sanja Malagurski: I play for position 4 and 2. But I guess I like playing for position 4. Unfortunately, Jovana is injured and I had to play for this position but I’m okay with it and I try to give my best.

Kerem Toros:World Championship is coming next as you know. What are the advantages and disadvantages of your team compare to the others ?

Sanja Malagurski: We have many experienced players in team. It is an advantage for us. Besides there are also young players who are bringing dynamism to the team. We know that all teams will try to be there at their best. We are having a difficult WGP period and we are working for being there at our best.

Kerem Toros: We have called our national team as " Filenin Sultanlari". Does your team have such a nickname ?

Sanja Malagurski: No, we don’t have such a nickname.

Kerem Toros:You are the player who we want to see in Turkey. When will we see you in our league ?

Sanja Malagurski: It is a difficult question. I really don’t know. Like I said before I love Turkish League. Such a good one. I’ve got time. I hope I will have a good and healthy season. I will be playing in Poland next season but maybe I can play in here in the future, why not?. We’ll see.

Kerem Toros:Lastly , we wish you a healthy and succesful season in your new team "Chemik Police" .
